Welcome to www.KeithAllenPhoto.com. Creativity Combined with Experience and Professionalism. (702) 456-1207
It
is highly recommended that you meet with your photographer. Make sure
he will be the one photographing your session, start to finish. You
will want to see his work. A general "studio sample" will not show you his capabilities. The "in person" meeting will give
you a taste of his personality as well.
With
that in mind here are some important things to consider:
Is there Consistency from album to album, if not, how do you know what your photographs
will look like ?
-
How does
he / she handle the Lighting?
Does the lighting look natural, or is there an artificial look to
the photographs?
-
What is
the quality of the Posing,
does it look natural or do the subjects look "posed"?
-
Ask for
and check on References,
call a couple of past brides at random.
-
What about Pricing? Do
you understand the price list, or does it look like there are hidden
charges you don't understand?
-
Does the
photographer use Assistants,
do they improve the quality of the work or just increase your cost.
-
Are you
important, or just another Sale?
Does it seem like they don't want you to leave without signing a
contract. Quality photographers don't mind if you look around at
other studios.
-
Does your
photographer have a particular Style and will that style work for your needs.
-
Does the
photographer have Experience? Look for at least a few years of full time experience with wedding
photography.
